I've started a group with much the same idea. It's called Redefining Unemployment! (http://www.redefining-unemployment.net/)I think being unemployed is an amazing time to explore entrepreneurship, and there is an unprecedented number of talented people to collaborate out there who suddenly have a lot of free time.
